About

I am originally from Los Angeles, with three decades of experience in photography. My love for the art form began as a young boy when I picked up my dad’s film Nikon. I have no formal training in photography, as I studied History (BSc, United States Naval Academy) and Theology (PhD, Durham University). I am a thinker, and the camera helps me express thought through a different medium than the written word.

My current project is Autism at Eight, which documents my son’s experiences with ASD. I dreamed of being a conflict photographer when I was young, so this is my way to engage a crisis close to home. The landscape on this page is from that series; he is closest to the camera.

I have a handful of limited edition prints available, and can ship anywhere in the world. Contact me to discuss sizes, display options, and pricing.

As a published scholar who understands the written text, I am currently seeking publishing clients for product shoots. See examples at Paper.
